Ingredients
Filling
-
5 pieces Apple, fresh
-
2 spoons Sugar, white
-
250 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
150 g Margarine
-
6 spoon Water
Za posip
- 2 spoons Powdered sugar
Za posodo
- 2 spoons Butter, unsalted
Steps
-
In a bowl, combine flour and salt. Add diced margarine and quickly and lightly rub it into the flour with your fingers. Pour in cold water and knead everything together into a crumbly dough. Grease a pie dish with margarine.
-
Divide the prepared dough into two parts. Roll out one part of the dough on a floured surface to form a round, flat shape that covers the bottom and sides of the greased pie dish. Prick the dough with a fork in several places. Trim off any excess dough with a knife.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Peel, wash, and dry the apples. Then coarsely grate them, place them in a bowl, and pour boiling water over them. Drain the apples (squeeze out excess water) and evenly spread them over the dough. Sprinkle sugar over the apples.
-
Roll out the second part of the dough into a circle and cover the pie dish with it. Trim off any excess dough and join the two dough edges together by pinching them. Optionally, create a pattern along the joined edge. Before placing the pie in the oven, sprinkle it with water, then bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the baked pie from the oven, let it cool, dust with powdered sugar, slice, and serve on plates.

Advice
Cinnamon pairs excellently with apples, so along with sugar, you can also sprinkle a tablespoon of cinnamon over the apples. Before baking, you can cut a cross into the top crust of the pie with a knife.
