Ingredients
-
225 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
1 teaspoon Baking powder
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
1 spoon Sugar, white
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
300 ml Milk, whole milk
-
1 piece Banana, fresh
-
pieces Oil, vegetable oil, canola
Steps
-
Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of sugar, then mix well. Make a well in the center of the ingredients, add the beaten egg, and pour in the milk. Use a hand whisk or an electric mixer to mix thoroughly until you get a smooth batter without lumps.
-
Peel the banana and slice it into rounds, then mash them well with a fork. Mix the mashed banana into the batter.
-
Place a pan on the stove and heat it well. Pour a little oil into the heated pan, then tilt it left and right to evenly coat the surface.
-
Using a ladle, pour about 60 ml of batter into the oiled pan. Shape the batter into a smaller, thicker pancake with a diameter of 10 cm. If the pan is large enough, you can cook 2 to 4 pancakes at the same time. After about 2 to 3 minutes, the bottom of the pancakes will turn golden brown, and bubbles will start to appear on the top. Flip the pancakes using a spatula. Cook them on the other side for 2 minutes. Repeat the process to make about 12 pancakes, adding a little more oil to the pan as needed.
-
Serve the cooked pancakes on plates, accompanied by fresh or baked fruit, maple syrup, and thick Greek yogurt.
