Apple Cake with Yogurt and Almonds
Since the cake does not contain eggs, it is also suitable for people who, for one reason or another, cannot consume this food. Due to the addition of yogurt and grated apple, the dessert is very juicy and light.

Lightly grease a round cake pan (20 cm in diameter) with butter and line it with baking paper. Wash the apple, peel it, and grate it (discard the stem and core). Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

In a bowl, first mix the yogurt, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Add baking powder and baking soda, mix well, and let it sit for 3 minutes.

First, mix in the oil and grated apple into the mixture, and finally add the flour and ground almonds. Mix until you get a uniform batter, then stop mixing.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Use a spatula or spoon to evenly spread it in the pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle almond flakes over the batter, then place the pan in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes. If the cake browns too quickly on top, cover it with a piece of aluminum foil or baking paper. The cake is done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let the baked cake cool in the pan for about 30 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, cut it into pieces of desired size, serve on plates, and enjoy.
