Ingredients
-
3 pieces Apple, fresh
-
1 spoon Honey
-
1 teaspoon Oil, plant, coconut
-
400 g Yogurt, plain, from whole milk
-
4 spoon Oat bran, raw
Steps
-
First, prepare the apple compote. Wash the apples, peel them, and cut them into quarters. Remove the cores, then cut the quarters into smaller pieces and place them in a pot. Add a little cold water to the apple pieces and place the pot on the stove.
-
Simmer the apples over moderate heat for 10 to 15 minutes, or until they are completely softened. Remove the pot from the heat and mash the apple pieces well with a masher. Add a little honey and coconut butter, and mix well. Let the apple compote cool slightly.
-
Spread the cooled apple compote into clean glasses. Then, spoon Greek yogurt almost to the top over the compote. Sprinkle granola (or any cereal) over the yogurt. Serve the prepared breakfast immediately.

Advice
You can optionally mix a bit of ground cinnamon into the apple compote, and coconut butter can be replaced with regular butter. Granola is a popular North American breakfast made from cereal and optional additions (honey, nuts, dried fruit), which is baked in the oven until crispy. You can also make crispy oat cereal yourself.
