Ingredients
Crumble
-
100 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
80 g Butter, unsalted
-
2 spoons Sugar, white
-
pieces Butter, unsalted
-
3 pieces Apple, fresh
-
2 spoons Juice, lemon
-
pieces Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
2 spoons Sugar, white
-
250 g Blueberry, raw
-
1 teaspoon Koruzni škrob
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Grease a small pie dish (22 to 24 cm in diameter) with butter.
-
Wash and dry the apples and blueberries. Peel the apples and remove the stems and cores. Cut them into 1.5 cm pieces and place them in a bowl. Add lemon juice, ground cinnamon, sugar, and blueberries. If you have cornstarch (thickener), add it to the ingredients in the bowl. Mix the ingredients well, then transfer them to the pie dish and spread evenly. Place the dish in the preheated oven for 5 minutes.
-
In a clean bowl, sift the flour. Add the cold butter cut into cubes and rub it into the flour with your fingertips, lifting the mixture to make it airy and crumbly. Mix the sugar into the butter crumbs, then sprinkle them over the fruit in the pie dish. Bake the crumble in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes. It is ready when the butter crumbs on top turn a nice golden brown and crisp up.
-
Serve the warm crumble on plates. Top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a dollop of whipped cream, or Greek yogurt mixed with a bit of maple or coconut syrup. Serve the prepared dessert.
