Ingredients
-
2 piece Apple, fresh
-
0.5 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell
-
3 spoons Marmalade, orange
-
1 spoon Water
-
1 piece Dough, puff
-
pieces Powdered sugar
Steps
-
Wash the apples and cut them into quarters. Carefully remove the core and stems, then slice the quarters into thin pieces.
-
Fill a medium-sized bowl halfway with water. Squeeze lemon juice into the water and add the apple slices. Mix well and heat in the microwave for 2-3 minutes to soften the slices slightly. Drain the apple slices in a colander and let them dry well.
-
In a small bowl, mix the jam with water. Heat the mixture slightly in the microwave to make it more liquid and spreadable.
-
Unroll the puff pastry and cut it into equally wide strips. Spread the warm apricot jam in the middle, then arrange the apple slices in a straight line along the top edge of the strips (half of the slices should hang over the edge). If desired, sprinkle a little ground cinnamon over the apples.
-
Fold the bottom edges of the strips upwards, halve the pastry strips, then roll them into a rose shape.
-
Place the roses in the cavities of a muffin tin and bake for about 30 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius, until the pastry turns golden brown. Let the baked roses cool slightly, then arrange them on a nice plate or tray, dust with powdered sugar, and serve.
