450 g Apples, rose

150 ml Juice, apple

2.5 ml Vinegar, apple

25 g Butter, unsalted

2 piece Spices, cloves, ground

2 twigs Thyme, fresh

1 spoon Honey

2 teaspoons Mustard
Steps

Peel the apples, remove the cores, and cut them into chunks. Place the chunks in a pot, add apple cider vinegar, butter, cloves, and thyme. Simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the apples soften and break down.

Then increase the heat and simmer the apples on moderate heat until most of the liquid evaporates. Remove the cloves and thyme, and gently stir in honey and mustard. Taste and add more honey if desired. Serve the prepared sauce in a suitable bowl.
