Steps
-
First, prepare the teriyaki dressing. In a mixing jar, add teriyaki sauce, rice vinegar, sesame and rapeseed oil, soy sauce, powdered spices, brown sugar, salt, and freshly ground pepper. Close the jar tightly, then shake it several times well to ensure all ingredients are thoroughly mixed and combined into a uniform dressing.
-
Clean and wash the vegetables. Shred the Chinese and red cabbage. Cut the carrots into thin sticks or coarsely grate them, and slice the spring onion and cucumber into rings. Drain and rinse the green soybeans under running water.
-
Toss all the vegetables into a large bowl. If desired, add some roughly chopped cilantro. Pour the prepared dressing over the ingredients.
-
Mix the salad well to ensure all ingredients and dressing are evenly distributed. Sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds on top.

Advice
If we are eating the salad as a standalone meal, we can also add some salmon, chicken, or fried tofu. The salad can also be served as a side dish to sticky pork ribs or chicken wings, and it will perfectly complement a juicy steak or some pork skewers.
