Autumn Oatmeal Porridge
Autumn-colored oatmeal porridge with turmeric, cinnamon, and carrot. Turmeric is a powerful antioxidant, has anti-inflammatory properties, and strengthens the immune system. The carrot sweetens the porridge and ensures better vision, healthier skin, and sufficient intake of beta-carotene or vitamin A.

Ingredients
-
300 ml Soy milk
-
45 g Oat bran, raw
-
1 spoon Flaxseed
-
1 piece Carrot, fresh
-
0.5 teaspoons Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
0.25 teaspoons Spices, turmeric, ground
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
50 g Juice, apple
Steps
-
Peel, wash, and finely grate the carrot.
-
Heat the plant-based milk in a pot and mix in the carrot, spices, oats, chia seeds, and apple puree.
-
Cook on low heat for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. Once it thickens and absorbs all the liquid, the porridge is ready. If it becomes too thick, add a little more water.
-
Transfer the porridge to a bowl and garnish with your favorite toppings. I added banana, soy yogurt, hazelnuts, pecans, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, date syrup, almond butter, and a few pieces of dark chocolate.

Advice
For a non-vegan version, you can use 150 ml of milk and 150 ml of water instead of plant-based milk for cooking the oats.
