1 handful Arugula

0.5 piece Avocado, fresh

1 teaspoon Juice, lemon

1 spoon Oil, olive

1 teaspoon Oil, vegetable oil, canola

3 slices Meat, pork, smoked bacon

Carefully scoop out the avocado flesh with a spoon and slice it diagonally into thin pieces. Drizzle the slices with lemon juice and olive oil, and season with freshly ground pepper. Clean, wash, and dry the arugula.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the bacon slices until crispy. Remove the fried bacon from the pan and place it on paper towels to drain excess fat.

Spread herb butter on two slices of toast. Layer them with arugula, avocado slices, and the fried bacon. Cover with the remaining slices of toast, then cut the prepared sandwiches in half, place them on a plate, and serve.

Its important to use ripe avocados with soft flesh that gives slightly when pressed on the skin. Overripe avocados have very soft, dark, and bitter flesh, while underripe avocados have very hard flesh. For preparing the sandwich, you can use whole grain toast.
