Avocado Salad with Spinach and Bacon
The salad is very tasty, filling, and nutritious. Avocado is rich in beneficial unsaturated fatty acids and dietary fiber, spinach helps remove water from the body and contains vital minerals, while pine nuts are high in protein and aid digestion. Of course, we must also mention the bacon, which may not be as healthy as the other ingredients but adds a fantastic flavor and a bit of crunch to the salad.

Ingredients
-
1 piece Avocado, fresh
-
1 handful Spinach, raw
-
0.5 teaspoons Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
2 slices Meat, pork, smoked bacon
-
1 spoon Pine nuts
-
0.5 spoons Oil, olive
-
1 spoon Vinegar, balsamic
-
1 pinch Salt, table
Steps
-
Cut the bacon slices into smaller pieces. Clean the spinach, rinse it under running water, and dry it thoroughly.
-
Place a pan on the stove and dry-toast the pine nuts in it. Shake the pan frequently to prevent the pine nuts from burning. Transfer the toasted pine nuts to a small bowl, then add a little oil to the pan and heat it. Place the bacon pieces on the heated oil and fry them until crispy on both sides. Remove the fried bacon pieces from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess fat.
-
Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit with a spoon or knife. Scoop out the flesh from the skin and slice it, then arrange the slices on a plate. Add the spinach, crispy bacon pieces, and toasted pine nuts. Lightly season the salad with salt, drizzle with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and serve.
