Ingredients
-
pieces Bread, wheat
-
2 piece Meat, beef, ground
-
1 teaspoon Oil, plant, sunflower
-
3 slices Meat, pork, smoked bacon
-
2 slices Cheese, edamame
-
1 spoon Ketchup
-
1 spoon Mayonnaise
-
1 slice Tomato, red
Steps
-
Cut the raw bun in half, slice the bacon into thin strips. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the bacon strips until crispy. Remove the cooked bacon from the pan and drain on paper towels.
-
Cook the beef patties on a preheated grill (or in a grill pan). The meat should be nicely seared on the outside but remain juicy inside. The cooking time depends on the desired level of doneness. For rare meat, cook the patty for 2 minutes on each side, for medium 3 to 4 minutes, and for well-done 5 minutes. During the last minute of cooking, place slices of cheese on the patties to melt.
-
Spread a tablespoon of ketchup on the bottom half of the bun. Place the beef patty on the ketchup and top it with the fried bacon. Add another patty and also top it with fried bacon. Sprinkle the cheese with a pinch of oregano and layer with two or three slices of bacon. Add a tablespoon of mayonnaise, a slice of tomato, and cover the burger with the top half of the bun. Serve the prepared dish immediately.
