Open the scallops and use a knife to remove the white meat. Rinse the shucked meat thoroughly and dry it. Wrap each piece individually in a slice of bacon and secure with a wooden skewer or toothpick.

Melt butter in a pan and place the wraps in it. Cook them for 6 minutes. Turn them several times during cooking to ensure they are evenly browned on all sides.

Place the cooked wraps on a paper towel to drain slightly, then serve them on a plate and serve immediately.
