Ingredients
-
6 pieces Apples, rose
-
pieces Juice, lemon
-
250 g Cheese, cottage cheese
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
2 bags Sugar, white
-
0.5 teaspoons Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
pieces Lemon zest, fresh
-
80 g Walnuts
-
1 handful Raisins
-
pieces Alcohol, Rum
Steps
-
Wash the apples and dry them with paper towels. Carefully cut off the top part with the stem (like a lid). Then, hollow out the apples with a spoon or a small knife, being careful not to pierce them and not to reach the bottom. Drizzle the hollowed apples with lemon juice.
-
Prepare the filling. Finely chop the walnuts. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, egg, and vanilla sugar. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the chopped walnuts, and mix the rest along with lemon zest, ground cinnamon, and drained raisins into the cottage cheese.
-
Place the hollowed apples in a deep baking dish. Fill the hollows with the prepared cottage cheese filling (using a spoon to help). Cover the filled apples with the cut-off lids.
-
Pour a little water into the baking dish (just enough to cover the bottom with liquid), then place it in the oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for 30-40 minutes.
-
Serve the baked apples while they are still warm. Sprinkle the reserved walnuts on top.
