Ingredients
-
1 piece Meat, chicken, breasts
-
5 spoon Oil, olive
-
1 piece Bell pepper, red, fresh
-
1 piece Bell pepper, green, fresh
-
1 piece Bell pepper, yellow, fresh
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
1 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
Steps
-
Remove the bone and skin from the chicken breasts and cut them in half. Wash the meat and pat it dry with a paper towel. Take a ribbed pan and add a few drops of olive oil. Once the oil is heated, place the chicken meat in the pan and sear it on both sides until it turns golden brown (approximately 8 minutes per side). Be careful not to overheat the pan!
-
Wash the peppers, remove the seeds, and slice them into thin strips. Peel the onion, cut it in half, and chop it roughly. Wash the lemon thoroughly and slice it. Season the seared chicken breasts with salt and set them aside on a plate. In the same oil, sauté all the vegetables. Once the vegetables gain a bit of color, turn off the heat and remove the pan. Arrange the vegetables on the plates, place the chicken breasts on top, season, and serve.

Advice
Garnish the plate with a sprig of parsley, and optionally drizzle the meat with lemon juice. This dish pairs excellently with lemonade or a glass of red wine. For this recipe, we recommend using organic lemons.
