- Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
pieces Bread, wheat
-
4 spoon Butter, unsalted
-
1 teaspoon Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
4 slice Meat, pork, smoked bacon
-
1 handful Cheese, edamame
-
4 pieces Egg, fresh
-
pieces Salt, table
Steps
-
Use a knife to cut off the tops of the bread rolls (kaiser rolls). Carefully hollow out the bottom halves with your fingers or a spoon to make space for the other ingredients.
-
Place a pan on the stove and lightly grease it with oil. In the greased pan, fry the bacon slices until crispy on both sides. Drain the fried bacon on paper towels and cut or tear it into pieces.
-
First, pour a little melted butter into the bread bowls and line the hollowed-out parts with bacon pieces. Add some grated cheese, then carefully crack the eggs into the hollows and lightly season them with pepper and salt. Wrap the filled bread bowls in aluminum foil and bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for 15 to 20 minutes (15 minutes if you prefer the yolk to be slightly runny).
