Ingredients
-
8 pieces Figs, fresh
-
2 spoons Butter, unsalted
-
4 spoon Honey
-
1 teaspoon Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
pieces Ice cream, vanilla
-
1 handful Pistachio
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Quickly rinse the figs under running water and dry them with paper towels. If necessary, trim the stems. With a sharp knife, make two cuts in each fig (be careful not to cut too deep!) to create quarters that are still connected at the bottom.
-
Gently open the cut figs with your fingers and place a small piece of butter in the center of each. Arrange them in a small deep baking dish, drizzle with honey, sprinkle with ground cinnamon, and bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes. While the figs are baking, roughly chop the pistachios with a knife.
-
Serve the baked figs on plates. Place a small scoop of vanilla ice cream in the center of each fig. Sprinkle the chopped pistachios over the figs and ice cream, and drizzle with a little of the sweet syrup that formed in the baking dish during cooking. Serve the dessert immediately.

Advice
Instead of vanilla ice cream, you can use Greek yogurt, and pistachios can be replaced with almonds, hazelnuts, or walnuts.
