Baked Figs with Mascarpone

8 pieces Figs, fresh

1 spoon Butter, unsalted

2 spoons Sugar, brown

1.5 spoons Juice, lemon

Steps

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Cut off the stems of the figs and slice them in half. Grease a small deep baking dish well. Arrange the fig halves in the dish with the cut side facing down. Sprinkle sugar over the figs and pour lemon juice into the dish.

Place the dish with the figs in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Then remove the dish from the oven and baste the figs with the juice that has collected in the dish. Return the dish to the oven for another 5 minutes.

Serve the baked figs on a plate and top with a spoonful of mascarpone. Drizzle the dessert with the juice from the baking dish. Serve the prepared dessert.
