Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Prepare a baking dish, approximately 25 x 20 centimeters in size.

If using frozen Bolognese sauce, thaw it. It's best to leave it in the refrigerator overnight. Place the sauce in a larger pot and heat it until it boils.

Add the gnocchi to the sauce. Gently stir and cook covered for 5 minutes (fresh gnocchi) to 8 minutes (frozen gnocchi).

Transfer the sauce with gnocchi into the baking dish. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is gently bubbling.

Serve the prepared dish on plates. Accompany with a bowl of salad.
