Ingredients
-
400 g Potatoes, white
-
2 spoons Butter, unsalted
-
2 spoons Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
0.5 l Milk, whole milk
-
0.5 l Soup base, beef, cube
-
pieces Salt, table
-
200 g Meat, pork, smoked ham
-
2 spoons Cheese, edamame
-
1 handful Parsley, fresh
-
pieces Butter, unsalted
Steps
-
Place a pot with a larger amount of salted water on the stove. Bring to a boil, add the gnocchi, and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions. Drain the cooked gnocchi.
-
While the gnocchi are cooking, melt butter in a saucepan and sprinkle flour over it. Toast the flour until golden brown, stirring constantly. Slowly pour in the milk and broth while stirring to avoid lumps. Season with pepper and salt. Cook the sauce over moderate heat for about 10 minutes or until it thickens appropriately, then stir in the diced ham and remove the saucepan from the heat.
-
Lightly grease a deep baking dish with butter. Pour about one-third of the sauce into the dish. Add the drained gnocchi and cover them with the remaining sauce. Sprinkle cheese on top. Place the dish in the oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes, until a golden brown crust forms on top.
-
Sprinkle the baked gnocchi with chopped parsley and serve them directly in the baking dish. Offer the dish with a bowl of salad.
