Ingredients
-
1 kg Fish, mackerel
-
6 spoon Oil, olive
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
6 pieces Spices, bay (leaves)
-
3 pieces Lemon, fresh, without shell
-
300 g Salad, soft
Salsa verde
-
500 g Tomato, green
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
1 spoon Coriander, leaves, fresh
-
8 spoon Oil, olive
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
Steps
-
Clean the fish under running water and dry thoroughly with a paper towel. Rub the fish with salt and pepper, and make two small incisions on the skin. Wash the lemons under running water and wipe them dry. Slice one lemon into rounds. Cut the other lemon in half. Insert a few lemon rounds and bay leaves into the belly of the mackerel.
-
Drizzle olive oil into a large pan and heat it well. Be careful not to let the oil start smoking. Then sear the fish on both sides until golden brown. Add the lemon halves to the pan. Sear them, then arrange the fish and lemon halves on a plate.
-
Wash the lettuce and arrange the leaves decoratively around the fish. Slice the remaining lemon into rounds and place them on the fish. Drizzle salsa verde around the fish on the plate, then serve.
