Ingredients
Marinade
-
2 spoons Oil, olive
-
pieces Lemon, fresh, without shell
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
-
2 teaspoons Spices, paprika
-
pieces Spices, pepper, black
-
8 pieces Meat, chicken, wings
-
500 g Okra
-
500 g Potatoes, red
-
3 spoons Oil, olive
-
2 pod Garlic, fresh
-
pieces Salt, table
-
pieces Spices, pepper, black
Steps
-
In a large plastic container that can be sealed, mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt, paprika, and pepper. Add the chicken wings to the prepared marinade. Mix everything well so that the marinade coats all the pieces of meat. Cover the container and store it in the refrigerator for a few hours (or overnight) to allow the meat to soak up the marinade.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Arrange the marinated chicken wings in a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Place them so they do not touch each other, allowing them to bake more evenly and beautifully.
-
Place the baking dish with the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes. For the last 5 minutes of baking, you can increase the temperature to 220 degrees Celsius to crisp up the skin.
-
While the chicken wings are baking, peel and wash the potatoes. Cut them into larger pieces and place them in cold water to cook.
-
Wash the mallow leaves under running water. Remove the tough stems and cut them into strips or pieces, then add them to the pot where the potatoes are cooking. Salt and let the vegetables cook until they soften. Drain the cooked potatoes and mallow.
-
Peel and finely chop the garlic. Sauté it in olive oil until fragrant, then mix it with the oil into the cooked potatoes and mallow. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and if desired, add a bit more olive oil. Mix well.
-
Serve the baked chicken wings on plates. Add the mallow and potatoes on the side and serve the prepared dish.
