Baked Omelette
A delicious breakfast that requires minimal effort, as you simply need to pour the egg mixture into a baking dish and let the oven do the work. You can also prepare this omelette for lunch or dinner, and dont forget to serve it with a bowl of salad.

Steps

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease the baking dish with butter or oil.

Chop the cooked ham or bacon into pieces. Grate the cheese. Clean, wash, and chop the spring onion. If using bell pepper, wash it, remove the stem and seeds, and cut it into pieces.

Crack the eggs into a bowl and add milk, salt, and pepper. Whisk well with a hand whisk. Add the ham or bacon, cheese, spring onion, and bell pepper (if using) to the mixture. Mix everything well.

Pour the egg mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes. The omelette is ready when the mixture is set and lightly browned on top.

Sprinkle the baked omelette with chopped parsley or chives if desired. Cut it into slices and serve while still warm.
