Baked (Overnight) Oatmeal with Dried Fruit
Preparing baked oatmeal is very quick and simple. We recommend mixing all the necessary ingredients the night before baking and placing them in a baking dish, then simply baking the oatmeal in the oven in the morning. This way, your kitchen will be filled with an intoxicating aroma early in the morning, and you can indulge in a very tasty yet healthy breakfast. You can also prepare baked oatmeal for dinner or enjoy it as a dessert - in this case, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.

Ingredients
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
3 cups Milk, whole milk
-
50 ml Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
2 spoons Honey
-
1.5 teaspoons Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
2 cups Oat bran, raw

1.5 cups Apricot, raw
Steps
-
Cut larger pieces of dried fruit, such as apricots, prunes, and dates, into chunks.
-
In a bowl, thoroughly mix the eggs, milk, oil, honey, salt, and spices with a hand whisk. Add the oats and dried fruit to the bowl. Mix well and transfer the prepared mixture to a baking dish, cover it with transparent food wrap, and store it in the refrigerator overnight. If you don't have time, let the mixture 'rest' for at least half an hour.
-
Before placing the baking dish in the oven, stir the oatmeal well with a spatula or spoon. Bake it in the oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for 35-45 minutes. It is done when it develops a nice golden-brown crust on top. Serve the baked oatmeal warm or cold.
