Ingredients
-
12 pieces Shellfish, oysters
-
50 g Butter, unsalted
-
2 pod Garlic, fresh
-
3 spoons Breadcrumbs, dried
-
1 bouquet Parsley, fresh
-
0.25 teaspoons Salt, table
-
0.25 teaspoons Spices, pepper, black
-
1 bag Salt, table
-
50 g Cheese, Parmesan, grated
Steps
-
Clean the parsley, wash it, dry it, and finely chop it. Peel the garlic, wash it, and finely chop it. Clean the oysters under running water, then place them in a large pan and add enough water to completely cover the bottom. Bring everything to a boil, reduce to a moderate temperature, and cook for 2 minutes until the shells open. Discard any shells that do not open.
-
Remove the pan with the shells from the heat and let the oysters cool. Preheat the oven to 250 °C (482 °F). In a small saucepan, melt the butter over moderate heat. Add the chopped garlic and breadcrumbs and mix. Then add the parsley, salt, and pepper.
-
Fill a baking dish halfway with coarse salt. Carefully open the cooled oysters, making sure not to lose the liquid inside. Remove the oyster meat from the shell and place each piece in the deeper half of the shell. Arrange the shell halves in the baking dish and add a spoonful of the breadcrumb, pepper, and garlic mixture to each shell. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of the shells.
-
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 2 minutes. Serve the prepared oysters immediately with lemon slices.
