Ingredients
-
400 g Pasta, Macaroni
-
1 spoon Butter, unsalted
-
1 handful Breadcrumbs, dried
-
300 g Ham, pressed
-
1 spoon Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
180 g Sour cream
-
pieces Salt, table
-
100 g Cheese, edamame
Steps
-
Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted water. Follow the manufacturer's instructions, and cook the pasta until it is al dente (firm to the bite). Drain the cooked pasta and rinse it with cold water to stop the cooking process. Let it drain well.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Grease a deep baking dish with butter, then sprinkle it with breadcrumbs. Cut the ham into pieces and grate the cheese.
-
Heat a little oil in a pan and lightly fry the chopped ham. This step is not necessary, so you can skip it if you prefer.
-
In a bowl, mix the egg yolks and sour cream. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
-
First, mix the ham into the drained pasta. Then add the mixture of sour cream and egg yolks, and season with pepper and salt to taste. Optionally, add a little grated nutmeg. Mix well, and finally gently fold in the beaten egg whites.
-
Transfer the prepared mixture into the baking dish and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top. Bake the dish in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes. It is ready when the cheese on top turns golden brown and is baked. Serve with a bowl of seasonal salad.
