Ingredients
-
pieces Butter, unsalted
-
300 g Pasta, Macaroni
-
50 g Butter, unsalted
-
50 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
600 ml Milk, whole milk
-
120 g Cheese, edamame
-
pieces Salt, table
-
1 cup Beans, fresh
-
320 g Fish, tuna, in brine
-
1 handful Breadcrumbs, dried
-
50 g Cheese, Parmesan, grated
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. In a pot, bring a large amount of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook it for 2 minutes less than indicated on the package. Drain the cooked pasta well.
-
While the pasta is cooking, prepare the béchamel sauce. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the flour and cook it for two minutes while stirring constantly. Then gradually pour in warm milk and stir to prevent lumps from forming in the sauce. Bring the sauce to a boil and add grated cheese, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking while stirring until the cheese melts and you get a smooth and thick sauce. Remove the saucepan from the heat and mix in the peas and drained tuna.
-
Combine the sauce and pasta together and transfer to a greased deep baking dish. Sprinkle the top with a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. Bake the dish in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes. Serve the dish with a large bowl of seasonal salad.
