250 ml Alcohol, Wine, White
-
4 spoon Honey
-
50 g Butter, unsalted
-
1 teaspoon Spices, cinnamon, ground
Steps

Thoroughly wash the pears. Trim the bottom slightly so they can stand upright in the baking dish.
-
Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F). Place the pears in a small deep baking dish. Pour the wine into the dish and add honey, chunks of butter, and ground cinnamon. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
-
After 30 minutes of baking, remove the dish from the oven and take off the aluminum foil. Generously baste the pears with the wine sauce that has formed in the dish. Return the dish to the oven for another 30 minutes. Baste the pears with the sauce several more times during baking.
-
Once the pears have softened, remove the dish from the oven. Serve the warm pears on plates, drizzle with the wine sauce, and enjoy.

The dessert can be served with whipped cream, Greek yogurt, or a scoop of ice cream. Instead of ground cinnamon, you can use a cinnamon stick. Optionally, you can also add a few cloves and/or star anise.
