Ingredients
-
2 piece Pear, fresh
-
0.25 teaspoons Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
2 teaspoons Honey
-
1.5 handful Walnuts
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Wash the pears, dry them with paper towels, and cut them in half lengthwise. Using a round cutter or spoon, carefully remove the inner part with the seeds.
-
Arrange the pear halves in a baking dish lined with parchment paper (cut side facing up). Sprinkle them with cinnamon, fill with chopped walnuts, and drizzle with honey (about 0.5 teaspoons of honey per half). Bake the pears in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, until they soften and the tops are nicely caramelized.
-
Serve the baked pears warm or cold. Warm pears pair excellently with something cold and creamy: a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a spoonful of Greek yogurt, etc. Before serving, you can drizzle the dessert with a little more honey.
