Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Wash the plums and drain them. Then halve them and remove the pits. Place the plum halves in a small deep baking dish. In each half, where the pit was, place a candied cherry.

Mix brown sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle the mixture over the plums in the baking dish. Place the dish in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

Arrange the baked plums on plates. They pair excellently with whipped cream or a scoop of good ice cream.
