Baked Potato Slices with Chili Cream
If youve invited friends over to watch the game and are unsure what to serve them, baked potato slices are an excellent solution. You wont spend much on ingredients, and you can offer them with various dips, which your guests will happily enjoy. One of the more popular dips will undoubtedly be the chili cream.

Ingredients

1.5 kg Potatoes, white

50 ml Oil, olive

1 teaspoon Salt, table

0.25 teaspoons Spices, pepper, black

200 g Sour cream

100 g Cheese, creamy

1 teaspoon Spices, chili powder
Steps

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Clean, peel, wash, and dry the potatoes. Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise, then slice each half into four long pieces.

Place the potato slices in a large bowl, drizzle them with oil, and season with pepper and salt. Mix well to ensure all slices are evenly seasoned.

Line a low baking dish with parchment paper and arrange the seasoned potato slices on it. Place the dish in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, until the slices are soft inside and golden brown on top. Turn the slices during baking to ensure they brown evenly on all sides.

Just before the slices are done, prepare the chili cream. In a bowl, combine sour cream and cream cheese. Add a bit of ground chili and mix well to create a smooth sauce.

Serve the baked potato slices on plates. Accompany them with the chili cream, served in small bowls and garnished with a sprinkle of ground chili.
