Baked Potatoes with Salmon

1 kg Potatoes, white

250 ml Sweet cream

250 ml Milk, whole milk

4 pods Garlic, fresh

1 piece Onion, raw

pieces Spices, pepper, black

120 g Fish, salmon, smoked

1 bouquet Parsley, fresh

pieces Butter, unsalted

150 g Cheese, Gouda
Steps

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Peel the potatoes, wash them, and slice them as thinly as possible using a knife or a vegetable slicer. Finely chop the garlic, onion, and parsley separately.

Pour the cream and milk into a larger pot. Add the garlic and onion, and slowly bring the mixture to a gentle boil over moderate heat. Then add the potatoes, gently stir, and cook for 4 minutes.

Remove the pot from the heat and season the potatoes to taste with ground pepper and nutmeg. Add the diced salmon and chopped parsley, and quickly mix the ingredients. Add a little salt if needed.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish greased with butter. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Serve warm with a bowl of salad.
