Baked Rhubarb
From baked rhubarb, you can quickly prepare an excellent dessert. If you enjoy light and refreshing desserts, serve it with Greek yogurt; otherwise, serve it with mascarpone or a scoop of good vanilla ice cream. Don’t forget to drizzle the prepared dessert with the sauce that has accumulated in the baking dish during baking!

1 spoon Butter, unsalted

700 g Rhubarb

120 ml Alcohol, Wine, White

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Grease a small deep baking dish with butter. Clean and wash the rhubarb stalks. Cut them in half lengthwise, then chop into smaller pieces and place them in the baking dish.

Pour the wine over the rhubarb pieces and sprinkle with sugar. Add a few pieces of orange zest to the baking dish, then cover it with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 to 35 minutes, until the rhubarb softens. Then remove the foil and let the rhubarb bake for another 5 minutes, or until the sauce in the baking dish thickens slightly.

Serve the baked rhubarb on plates, drizzle with the sauce, and enjoy.
