Baked Rice Pudding with Raisins

Ingredients

200 g Rice, white, short grain

1 spoon Butter, unsalted

5 spoon Powdered sugar

85 g Raisins, golden

1.2 l Milk, whole milk

5 drops Vanilla, extract, natural

1 piece Juice, lemon

1 pinch Spices, nutmeg, ground

1 handful Nuts, hazelnuts
Steps

Wash the lemon thoroughly, dry it, and grate the zest. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius. Grease a deep baking dish with butter. Mix the raisins, sugar, rice, milk, and vanilla extract, and pour into the baking dish. Sprinkle evenly with lemon zest and nutmeg. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for exactly 2 and a half hours.

Distribute the prepared rice pudding into bowls and garnish with ground hazelnuts. Serve while still warm.

Advice
Its best to rinse the rice thoroughly under running water before use. If possible, use organic lemons, whose peel is not treated with pesticides. If organic lemons are not available, immerse the lemon in boiling water for a few minutes and wipe it well to remove the wax, which contains toxins.
