Ingredients
-
300 g Banana, fresh
-
3 pieces Egg, fresh
-
1 piece Apple, fresh
-
300 g Flour, Whole wheat
-
2 teaspoons Baking powder
-
0.25 teaspoons Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
pieces Butter, unsalted
-
1 handful Nuts, almonds, blanched
Steps
-
Peel the bananas and slice them into rounds. Add them to a bowl and mash with a fork. Mix the banana mash with the eggs.
-
Wash, peel, and grate the apple. Mix it into the banana mixture. Finally, fold in the flour, which has been mixed with baking powder and cinnamon. Stop mixing once the ingredients are combined into a uniform batter.
-
Grease a narrow cake pan (10 x 30 cm) with butter. Optionally, sprinkle almond flakes over it, which will add a bit of crunch to the banana bread. Pour the banana batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
-
Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 180°C, for about 45 minutes. The oven rack should be set in the lower third of the oven.
-
Once the bread is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, slice it into pieces and serve for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It pairs well with a cup of warm beverage.
