Banana Slices with Cottage Cheese Cream
An excellent dessert for all who love the combination of bananas and chocolate. Beneath the chocolate glaze lies a delicious cottage cheese cream with bananas. The base is a slightly biscuit-like cocoa batter, which can also be prepared with buckwheat flour.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease a baking dish, size 35 x 25 centimeters, with butter.

Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them together with sugar and vanilla sugar for 10 minutes. In another bowl, mix the flour, cocoa, and baking powder. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula, pour the batter into the baking dish, and bake for 20 minutes. Let it cool.

Whip 200 ml of whipping cream. Soak the gelatin in cold water. In a small saucepan, heat 50 ml of cream until it boils. Remove from heat and thoroughly mix in the squeezed gelatin leaves. Let it cool slightly.

Mix the cottage cheese and sugar, then use an electric mixer to incorporate the cream with gelatin, and finally fold in the whipped cream with a spatula.

Peel the bananas and cut each one in half lengthwise. Arrange the halves on the biscuit base and spread the cottage cheese cream on top. Place the baking dish in the refrigerator to let the cream set slightly.

Finally, finely chop the chocolate and place it in a bowl or plate. Heat the cream in a saucepan until it boils and immediately pour it over the chocolate. Wait for 5 minutes, then stir and carefully spread it over the cottage cheese layer. Place the baking dish in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
