Ingredients
Cookie base
-
300 g Breadcrumbs, dried
-
150 g Butter, unsalted
Decoration
-
pieces chocolate, dark
-
0.5 piece Banana, fresh
-
1 can Milk, whole milk
-
1 piece Banana, fresh
-
200 ml Sweet cream
Steps
-
In a tall pot, bring a large amount of water to a boil. Once the water boils, reduce the temperature so that the water barely simmers. Place the can of condensed milk in the pot, cover it, and cook the can on low heat for 2 to 3 hours (add water as needed, as the can must always be submerged in water). Remove the can from the pot, open it, and pour the contents into a bowl. Mix the caramel well with a whisk.
-
In a small saucepan, slowly melt the butter over low heat. In a food processor, finely grind the biscuits. Transfer them to a bowl and mix with the melted butter.
-
Grease the bottom of a round springform pan (for a pie or cake, 24 cm in diameter) with butter and line it with parchment paper. Then, pour the biscuit-butter mixture into the pan and spread it evenly over the bottom and sides of the pan with your hands. Press the mixture firmly with your palms against the bottom and sides to create a solid biscuit base. Store the pan in the refrigerator to allow the biscuit base to set.
-
Peel the banana and slice it. Whip the cream with an electric mixer. Spread the caramel over the firm biscuit base, then add the banana slices, and finally the whipped cream. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours to allow the dessert to cool well.
-
Carefully remove the prepared pie from the pan and serve it on a beautiful plate or platter. Decorate it with chocolate and banana slices, cut into pieces of desired size, serve on plates, and enjoy.
