Barley with Mulled Wine

Bring white wine to a boil and simmer for about 20 minutes. Then add a tea bag with mulled wine flavor. After 5 minutes, remove the tea bag and add barley to the pot. Season with salt and pepper to taste and wait for the barley to come to a boil. Then add chicken broth and cook the barley until tender.

Clean the vegetables and cut them into small, equally sized cubes. Cut the pancetta into thin strips. Sauté the vegetables until golden brown, add the bacon, and continue to fry for another 1 to 2 minutes while stirring. Add the cooked barley, mix well, and remove from heat. Finally, stir in butter and soy sauce, and serve the prepared dish.
