Ingredients
-
100 g Sugar, white
-
100 g Sugar, white
dough
-
200 g Butter, unsalted
-
600 g chocolate, dark
-
650 ml Milk, whole milk
-
375 g Breadcrumbs, dried
glazura
- 2 piece chocolate, dark
Steps
-
Prepare the dough according to the recipe for chocolate sponge cake. Line several different molds with baking paper: we need one medium-sized mold with a removable rim for the bear's body, one slightly smaller for the head, and 4 small ones for the paws. The ears are made from the scraps that result when we carve indentations for the paws into the body.
-
Pour the prepared dough into the molds. Ensure it is evenly distributed so that the height of the dough is the same in all molds. Store in the refrigerator, where it should rest for 5 hours.
-
Take the molds out of the refrigerator. Remove the removable rim and place the largest cake for the bear's body on the lower half of a large serving plate or platter. Use a sharp knife to trim the sponge cake so that the paws and head will fit into the body. Save two pieces of the trimmed sponge cake for the ears.
-
Attach the other cakes to the body: the head and four paws, and place the ears next to the head. Prepare the chocolate glaze according to the package instructions and pour it over the bear. Decorate it with gummy candies and colorful round candies (see picture) and serve.
