Beef Meatballs from Soup
If you have leftover boiled beef from Sunday lunch, you can use it to prepare delicious meatballs. The preparation is quick and easy, and for a complete meal, simply serve it with a bowl of salad.

Cut the bread into cubes. Place it in a bowl and pour a few tablespoons of milk over it to soak. If you don't have bread on hand, you can also use breadcrumbs.

Peel and chop the onion and garlic separately. Sauté the onion in a little oil. At the end, add the chopped or crushed garlic and cook it together with the onion until fragrant.

Cut the boiled beef into cubes and grind it together with the sautéed onion. Add the soaked bread, egg, salt, pepper, and optionally chopped herbs. Mix everything well to form a uniform mixture.

Heat a pan well and grease it with oil. Place small mounds of the mixture onto the pan and flatten them slightly with a spoon or spatula. Cook the meatballs for a few minutes on each side or until golden brown.
