Ingredients
-
600 g Meat, beef, tongue
-
1 can Olives, green, in brine
-
3 twigs Parsley, fresh
-
250 g Bread, wheat
Steps
-
Thoroughly clean the beef tongue. Place a large pot on the stove, pour in a generous amount of water, and add salt. Wait for the water to boil, then add the beef tongue and cook for about 60 minutes. Drain the cooked tongue and peel it while it is still hot.
-
Immediately rinse the peeled tongue under cold water, dry it, and slice it into appropriately thick pieces. Open a jar of olives and drain them. Thoroughly wash and dry the parsley sprigs, and slice the French baguette into narrower pieces.
-
Arrange the bread slices on a clean work surface. Fold each slice of beef tongue and place an olive in the center. Secure the beef tongue and olive with a toothpick and insert it into the bread slice. Arrange the prepared bread pieces on a serving plate, garnish with parsley leaves, and serve.
