Ingredients
- 10 pieces Egg, fresh
Steps
-
Blow out the egg with a straw by making holes on both sides of the egg and blowing the contents into a bowl (or remove the contents with a needle). Wash the shell thoroughly but carefully – leave it under running water for a longer time. We will first draw on the bare eggshell with wax. Fill the tube with heated wax and quickly move the tube to the egg to create any shapes, geometric patterns, or plants.
-
Dip the first waxed eggs into cold water, which we previously dye with red crepe paper. Dry the dyed eggshell, then take the wax tube again in hand and wax everything we want to remain red. Dip the egg again into cold water, which we have dyed with black textile dye. Completely dry the dyed eggshell.
-
Carefully remove the wax from the egg and prepare red wool. Make loops from the red wool and pull them through the holes in the egg.

Advice
We can play around with wax. We can draw animals, plants, people, and houses …, a very beautiful color combination is blue and yellow. We wax the yellow eggshell and dip it in blue dye.
