Ingredients
Dough
-
500 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
3 dl Water
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
3 spoons Oil, olive
-
1 pinch Salt, table
Filling
-
500 g Cheese, cottage cheese
-
2 spoons Sugar, white
-
150 g Butter, unsalted
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
4 spoon Sour cream
-
2 pinch Salt, table
-
1 spoon Butter, unsalted
Steps
-
In a large bowl, mix the ingredients for the stretched dough and form a loaf. Brush the loaf with oil and place it in a bowl, then cover it. Let the dough rest for at least 30 minutes.
-
Spread a larger sterile cloth over the work surface and evenly sprinkle it with flour. Place the loaf on the cloth and roll it out into a rectangle. Then stretch the dough with your hands until it is almost transparent (about 5 millimeters thick). Trim the edges of the dough.
-
In a bowl, mix the ingredients for the filling and spread them evenly over the stretched dough. Using the cloth, roll the dough into a log, then shape the rolled dough into a snail. Grease a baking dish and place the "snail" inside, then brush it with butter. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
-
Bake the pastry in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes. Serve by slicing it and offering it warm.

Advice
Instead of heated cream, you can also use sour cream. If the dough is too runny, reduce the amount of water or add a bit more flour.
