Belgian Waffles
Waffles are an excellent choice for those days when we want to indulge ourselves in the morning. In terms of taste and ingredients, they are similar to thicker pancakes, but their characteristic feature is the textured surface, which is made using a special waffle iron. For their preparation, we can use a slightly thicker pancake batter, and in some places, they are also made from a better leavened dough. However, we will get especially good waffles, light and fluffy, if we beat egg whites into stiff peaks, dissolve butter in warm milk, and add baking powder to the flour. Serve the baked waffles with various jams or fruit sauces, or they are also excellent when served with Greek yogurt and fresh fruit.

500 ml Milk, whole milk

100 g Butter, unsalted
-
1 teaspoon Vanilla, extract, imitation
-

Steps
-
Heat the milk until lukewarm. Add the butter and let it melt in the warm milk.

Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl. Add salt, sugar, and optionally ground cinnamon, and mix the ingredients well.

Remove the baked waffle from the iron and serve it on a plate. Repeat the process until you run out of batter.
