Berlin Meatballs
Simple meatballs that wont take much of your time to prepare. Serve them with a good salad and enjoy the wonderful flavor!

Ingredients

160 g Bread, wheat

200 ml Milk, skimmed

1 piece Onion, raw

125 g Meat, beef, dried beef

125 g Meat, pork, ground

250 g Meat, veal, ground

0.75 teaspoons Salt, table

2 pinch Spices, pepper, black

2 pinch Spices, nutmeg, ground

4 spoon Lard
Steps

Prepare a clean bowl and pour milk into it. Place two bread rolls in the milk and soak them for about 20 minutes. Turn them once in between to ensure they soak well. Peel and finely chop the onion.

In a large bowl, mix all three types of ground meat with the onion, soaked bread, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Knead all the ingredients thoroughly. With wet hands, shape the prepared mixture into small meatballs.

Place a pan on the stove and melt pork fat in it, heating it well. Brown the meatballs on both sides over medium-high heat.

Serve the cooked meatballs on plates and offer them with a side dish.
