Ingredients
-
1 handful Nuts, hazelnuts
-
200 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
2 teaspoons Baking powder
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
70 g Sugar, white
-
60 g Butter, unsalted
-
150 g Sour cream
-
150 g Chocolate spread, with hazelnuts
-
125 ml Sweet cream
-
50 g Powdered sugar
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Place paper liners in the muffin tin cavities.
-
Melt the butter in a cup and let it cool slightly. Finely chop the hazelnuts. In a larger bowl, sift the flour, add half of the chopped hazelnuts, baking powder, a pinch of salt, and mix well. In a smaller bowl, whisk together the egg, sugar, melted butter, sour cream, and hazelnut nougat cream. Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the flour and mix just enough to moisten all the ingredients.
-
Fill the muffin tin cavities three-quarters full with the batter and sprinkle the remaining chopped hazelnuts on top. Place the tin in the preheated oven and bake at the middle height for 20 minutes, until the muffins turn golden brown. Remove the tin from the oven and let the muffins cool slightly.
-
Whip the cream with an electric mixer until stiff. Remove the cooled muffins from the tin, arrange them on a plate, decorate with the whipped sweet cream, and sprinkle with colorful sprinkles.
