2.5 dl Milk, partially skimmed

230 g Spices, poppy

Mix all the ingredients for the dough and knead into a firm dough. Then shape it into a ball, wrap it in food wrap, and place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Place a pot on the stove, add milk, honey, cinnamon, and lemon zest. Mix well and bring to a boil. Once it boils, remove from heat, add poppy seeds, and bring to a boil again. Then remove from heat, mix in breadcrumbs, and let it sit for 20 minutes to allow the poppy seeds to swell.

For the cream filling, mix all the listed ingredients for the cream filling in a bowl. Then take the dough out of the refrigerator and remove one-third of it. Roll out the remaining dough to 4 mm thickness and line the pie mold with it. Press the dough well against the bottom and sides of the mold, then prick it with a fork.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. First, evenly spread the poppy seed filling over the dough, then add the cream filling and smooth it out. From the remaining dough, make several rolls and arrange them on top of the pie to create a nice lattice pattern.

Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 60 minutes. Then remove the pie from the oven and let it cool. Once cooled, slice it and serve.

Advice
It is best to use an organic lemon, the peel of which has not been treated with pesticides. If you do not have an organic lemon, immerse the lemon in boiling water for a few minutes and wipe it well to remove the wax in which the toxins are found.
