Thoroughly wash the artichoke heads in lukewarm water and drain them well. Place a pot on the stove and add enough water to completely cover the artichokes. Cover the pot and cook the artichokes over moderate heat for about half an hour.

Once the artichokes are ready, drain them, season with salt, and drizzle with olive oil. Serve them on plates and offer them to your guests.
