Ingredients

100 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

100 g Flour, Whole wheat

0.5 teaspoons Baking powder

60 g Margarine

5 pieces Onion, raw

100 g Cheese, Parmesan, grated

1 piece Egg, fresh

150 ml Milk, skimmed

60 g Seeds, sunflower, peeled, dried

20 g Butter, unsalted

Grease a square baking pan with baking butter and preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Peel the onion and chop it into small pieces. In a large bowl, sift both types of flour and baking soda. Add margarine and quickly mix all the ingredients with your fingers. Add grated Parmesan and the onion.

Whisk the egg in milk and mix it into the other ingredients. Knead all the ingredients into a smooth and pliable dough, shape it into a loaf, and transfer it to the baking pan. Sprinkle the top of the dough with sunflower seeds, then place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for exactly 40 minutes. Once the bread is baked, transfer it to a wire rack and let it cool slightly. Then slice it and serve it to your guests.
