Ingredients
-
240 ml Water
-
1 spoon Sugar, white
-
2 teaspoons Yeast, dry
-
240 ml Milk, whole milk
-
2 spoons Butter, unsalted
-
1.5 teaspoons Salt, table
-
pieces Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
200 g Cheese, mozzarella
garlic soup
-
6 pods Garlic, fresh
-
pieces Parsley, fresh
-
3 spoons Butter, unsalted
-
2 spoons Oil, olive
Steps
-
Pour warm water into a large bowl, add sugar and dry yeast. Mix, cover the bowl with a cloth, and let it rest for 10 minutes to allow the yeast to activate.
-
Then add warm milk, butter, salt, and 3 cups of flour to the bowl. Mix everything well and gradually add the remaining flour while mixing. You can mix by hand or with a kitchen mixer. Mix until the dough becomes smooth, elastic, and no longer sticks to the bowl or mixer.
-
Let the dough rest in a covered bowl in a warm place for about 45 minutes to rise.
-
While the dough is rising, cut the mozzarella into 32 pieces.
-
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a large baking dish with parchment paper and place a smaller heatproof bowl in the center.
-
Cut the dough into pieces (32 pieces). Place a piece of mozzarella in the center of each dough piece, then shape it into a ball. Arrange the balls around the heatproof bowl in the shape of a wreath until all the dough is used.
-
Brush the dough with a little olive oil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes until the bread turns golden brown.
-
Meanwhile, prepare the garlic butter sauce. Finely chop the garlic and parsley in a food processor, add olive oil, mix, and scrape the sauce from the sides of the bowl.
-
Melt the butter in a pan, then add the garlic and parsley and cook for 2 minutes. Turn off the heat and stir in the olive oil.
-
Remove the baked bread wreath from the oven and immediately brush it with the garlic butter sauce. Let it cool slightly. Pour the remaining garlic butter sauce into the bowl in the center of the wreath and serve. You can tear off individual bread pieces by hand and dip them into the garlic butter sauce.
